Katrina sent me a text message just before 11AM to let me know she and mom wanted to meet me at Waffle House in Summerdale for lunch. I was able to jump in the car and head right over. Katrina got to have her first waffle and chicken at Waffle House. She seemed to like all. Chandler was with mom and Katrina and got some teaching about math, minimum wage and tips.

The waitress dropped off the check and mom put $30 dollars on the table. We had Chandler figure the change then work out the tip. After the change and tip were determined I gave a short explanation of minimum wage and how this translated for service staff. Chandler seemed to be clear on all points and the waitress gave him a free waffle gift card for his lesson.

On the way back to the office I saw a crop duster flying over a short field. Because it was near a side street I pulled the car over to try and grab a shot with my cell phone. It was not the best shot, but cool to watch.
